you get what you pay. however, you can sharp the knif bybyour self and they become good.

The knife set arrived as expected and in good condition!  Little advise to the company, lay off on the amount of packing tape, it was a bit over-kill.  Now back to the knifes, I like the knife set very well, but the Chefs knife could be balance better, as it is blade heavy. Butcher knife feels good in the hand, and I only used it once so can't really give a honest review of it.  Sharpness is good, and will serve most purposes right out of the box. The vegetable peeler worked perfect, and is very sharp so beaware ahead of time,  Over all its a very good set to get at a budget price! To keep these in good sharp condition and if your not good at using a honing rod, find a top quality sharping stones, that not included with these knifes  Also remember, if you take care of these blades, they will serve you well.
